The Acorn JR Lady Tigers will play their game at Dierks tonight. The bus will leave at 5:15.
The Acorn Elementary Quiz Bowl team competed in the DMESC Quiz Bowl Finals today. They fought hard and came out as the DMESC Elementary Quiz Bowl Runner-Up! Congratulations on your 2nd place trophy!
The Acorn Elementary Quiz Bowl team placed 2nd in the Polk County Quiz Bowl Tournament back on November 21st, 2019. That qualified them for a spot in the DMEC Quiz Bowl Finals.
ATTENTION: Coaches will notify Acorn Jr. High athletes about the Dierks games tomorrow. A decision will be made depending on the road conditions. Stay Tuned Acorn Tiger Fans!!

If you need something to do this weekend, come cheer on the Acorn Jr. High Basketball teams! The Acorn Jr. Tigers and Lady Tigers play Sat., Jan., 18th in the Jr. High Dierks Tournament. Both teams play Mineral Springs. The girls play at 2:30 p.m, and the boys play at 3:45 p.m.
Four Acorn Students participated in the DMEC High School Chess Tournament yesterday!! Kenzie Daniels tied for 14th place, Rayden Laird received 20th place, Kensey Rosson received 33rd place, and Reed McGee received 58th place. Congratulations to these students!
