The Acorn, Sr. High Boys basketball team is playing the Blevins Hornets in the second round of the Cossatot Tournament tomorrow Jan., 9th at 8:00 p.m. Come on out and be proud supporters of our Acorn Tigers!!!
The Acorn, Sr. High Lady tigers defeated the Blevins Lady Hornets Monday and are advancing to the second round of the Cossatot Tournament. They are playing January 9th versus the Dequeen Lady Leopards at 6:40 p.m.
Oden 6th grade is solving percentage problems!
**The Acorn Tigers kickoff the second half of their basketball season tonight, Jan. 7th at Acorn. They are taking on the Cossatot Eagles. The games start at 5:30 p.m. Jr. Boys play first, then Sr. Girls, and followed by Sr. Boys. Come on out and cheer on your Acorn Tigers!!!
The Oden Yearbook would like to gather good quality summer and deer hunting photos. They are also interested if a student has achievements/hobbies outside of school.

Acorn Elementary celebrated Ugly Christmas Sweater Day a few days early. Students even joined in.
Tonight at Peach Tree Assisted Living Facility, members of Acorn FCCLA & Acorn FCS sang Christmas carols and played games with the residents. Pretty sure this has been our favorite night so far this year. Music has a way of spanning the generations and bringing everyone together. Looking forward to next month.
Reminder: Acorn Schools' Project Prevent is hosting a toy drive next Wed., Dec.18, 2019 at the Acorn vs Gurdon basketball games held at Acorn Gymnasium. Donations will be collected at center court during halftime of the senior girls game. Further details on flyer below.
