In recognition of Breast Cancer awareness month, we encourage everyone to wear pink to Friday nights match up against Emerson! Help us pink out the gym and recognize the importance of the fight against this horrible disease!!

Acorn Campus is currently experiencing problems with our phone system. If you need to contact the school please call 479-394-7339, until the problem is resolved. Thank you for your patience.

Statewide school phone systems are having some technical difficulties. At this time they are up, but please bare with us if you have any trouble getting through.

Acorn Elementary's car rider line was a bit more fun this morning! Thanks to Mrs. Lane's "Pink Out" outfit.



Oden Career and Technical Organizations FCCLA, FBLA, and SkillsUSA traveled to CTSO day at the Arkansas State Fair! After the CTSO informational meetings, students were allowed to explore the fair. The rain quickly rain ran us to Dave&Busters for lunch and then Bass Pro Shop before the drive home!



Acorn High School is having a Book Fair!!! It is located in the High School library. It will close this Friday afternoon and will be open during Parent-Teacher Conferences Thursday, October 17.

Acorn FCCLA met at Peach Tree Assisted Living tonight to play board games with the residents. A good time was had by all.





Mrs. Wilson's class is working hard on learning their numbers!!

Timberwolves old and young, the chickens went in the smoker early this morning! Looking forward to what is going to be a beautiful day of fun and fellowship! Huge shout out to Greg Carmack for smoking the chicken! Remember it starts at 2:00, come hungry!


Acorn Child Development & Parenting made "sugar babies" today. After making them, they will dress them and provide essential baby items, such as bottles & blankets. Next week, their babies will go everywhere with them for 36 hrs.





FCCLA is selling BOO Grams starting on Mon., Oct. 14. This year they will be cake balls. The options are chocolate and vanilla. There are 6 cake balls per order at $4. Orders must be placed and paid for by Oct. 28. To order contact mlyle@orsd.k12.ar.us or an FCCLA member.

Congratulations King John And Queen Ryder!! 2nd grade King and Queen and newly crowned Harvest Festival King and Queen!! Thanks to all that helped us this week with everything! Love the picture of this Mom and Grandmother that worked so hard this week!! Thank you!!



Acorn Elementary will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair next week. Family night will be Thursday, October 17th from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Students will be enter into a drawing for free books, just for bringing their parents to the book fair.
eWallet is also available for students, so you will not have to send money to school.



Oden 3rd and 4th grade read, “The True Story of the Three Little Pigs”, then tried to engineer a house that was stable and tall enough to keep a wolf out.





Acorn Harvest Festival
Please come and join us at our time honored tradition of fun and family and friends!
Games and activities will take place in the New Gym beginning at 6 pm.
The parade of Kings and Queens begins at 8 pm.
Come hungry and check out our newly remodeled concession stand!
