Attendance Matters! Every person, every day. Thank you, Acorn families, to all of you who see that their children attend everyday unless they are sick. Missing a day here and there may not seem like much, but absences add up! When a student misses 2 days a month, they will miss 20 days a year, 25 hours of math, and 50 hours of reading and writing. They will miss over 1 year of school by graduation. Attendance is even more important for the 4 day week. Each day is the equivalent of 1.25 days of instruction. Being present for that instruction is critical for our students to learn and grow academically. Thank you for scheduling appointments on Mondays and supporting your student's education! #AEStigersSERVE
