Coach Chris Ledbetter - The JR Girls brought their defense against the Kirby JR Lady Trojans. I thought our girls did a much better job of playing good, sound defense without fouling. We also shot the ball much better than we did the previous night against County Line. The intensity was better and we reduced our turnovers against Kirby.

Coach Chris Ledbetter - The JR Girls played hard in their opener against County Line but came up short by 6 pts to a very solid team. I was very pleased with the team effort but had a hard time making shots. All in all this is a game that we needed to get better.
