The Acorn Senior Girls will hit the road this Friday, February 21, 2025, weather permitting, as they travel to JC Westside to take on Hector in the 2A-4 District Tournament semifinals. Let’s rally behind our Lady Tigers as they compete for a spot in the championship! Go Acorn! 🏀💪

ORSD will be closed tomorrow, February 18th, due to inclement weather. District officials will continue to monitor the weather and road conditions throughout the day tomorrow and will evaluate the situation for Wednesday, February 19th.
ORSD is closely monitoring the developing winter weather forecast and its potential impact on school tomorrow, Feb. 18th. District officials are in close communication with local emergency management agencies to assess the situation and make a timely decision regarding school closures for Tuesday , February 18th. When a decision regarding school closure is made, it will be communicated through Facebook and SMS messaging. ORSD appreciates the community's patience and understanding as we navigate this weather event.
The Oden Senior Timberwolves and Senior Lady Timberwolves are gearing up for an exciting showdown at the 1A-7 Senior District Tournament! They’ll hit the road to Nevada High School on February 18th, ready to compete at their best. The action kicks off at 5:00 PM with the Senior Lady Timberwolves facing the Umpire Wildcats, followed by the Senior Timberwolves taking the court at 6:15 PM. Come out and support our teams as they battle for victory—let’s go, Timberwolves!

The Acorn Senior Lady Tigers will make their tournament debut on Tuesday, February 18, at 4:00 p.m. They'll take on the winner of the Hector Wildcats vs. JC Westside Rebels matchup with a trip to the championship game on the line.

Both Acorn Senior Teams are traveling to Dierks to take on the Outlaws on February 14, 2025, with games beginning @ 530 pm.
Champions are crowned! What an incredible night for the Acorn JR Lady Tigers and the Acorn JR Tigers! Both teams claimed the top spots as your 2A-4 Junior Basketball District Tournament Champions!
Acorn High School hosted the 2A-4 Junior Basketball District Tournament and the battles for the Junior Girls and Junior Boys District Tournament Championships were played out tonight on the Mike Jackson Court in the Acorn Gymnasium.
The Acorn Junior Lady Tigers took home the 2A-4 District Tournament Championship trophy tonight with a thrilling, hard fought overtime victory over Danville JR Lady Little Johns and also claimed the title as your undefeated 2A-4 Junior Girls Basketball Conference Champions!
In a riveting battle to the end going into overtime, the Acorn Junior Tigers claimed victory as the 2A-4 District Tournament Champions over the Mountainburg JR Dragons and claimed the title finishing 3rd in 2A-4 Junior Boys Basketball Conference play!
