Acorn Elementary's First Grade Harvest Festival Bake Sale will be at Wal-Mart tomorrow from 8:30a.m -3p.m. Come support our students and enjoy some delicious baked goods! All proceeds go toward the purchase of classroom materials and field trips!!
Today Oden FBLA traveled to UofA Hope, to attend the District IV Leadership Conference! After some very informative breakout sessions, we enjoyed motivational speaker Cory Greenwood and got to experience the beautiful voice of Nick Townsend, who was a top 40 contestant on American Idol! A great time was had by all!
Attention Parents: Wednesday, October 16th is Pink out in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Day at Acorn Schools. Dress in as much pink as you can to show your support!

The Oden 8th grade class is the sponsor of the cake walk at the Halloween Carnival this year. They are asking for donations of cakes, cupcakes, pies and etc. Cakes can be dropped off at the carnival on October 26th. Thank you for your support!!! 🎂🐾🐺

Oden 5/6th Girls pee wee will not have practice this evening.
Today in the library, Oden kindergarten read, “Click Clack Boo,” and explored a stem activity to engineer a spider web. Students used toothpicks and marshmallows to build their webs.

Attention parents of 3rd grade girls interested in playing peewee basketball:
The first practice will be in the Mary Davis Gym at 6 pm on Tuesday, October 15th.
Players need to have shoes suitable for the gym floor. Parents will need to attend to register their player.
Reminder that pee wee practices begin this evening beginning with 5/6th girls at 4:00 & 5/6th boys at 5:00.
