Thank you to Mrs. McPherson for coming to Mrs. Tedder’s class and sharing her cultural experience in the middle eastern country of Tajikistan. Her experiences have brought much insight into our book reading - I Am Malala. Students were full of questions!
Special recognition at tonight’s school board meeting:
The following students scored a 3 or higher on their 2018-2019 Advanced Placement exam(s): Makenna Goss, Kacey Head, Brady Lyle, Matthew Nance, and Haley Sandoval. Students were awarded a $50 incentive check for each exam they scored a 3 or higher on. Congratulations to the AP teachers, Mrs. Singleton and Mr. Spradlin, as well as the students on their hard work.

Parents and community. In light of the recent FBI warnings for Arkansas Schools know that ORSD will be protecting all students and staff with extra security this week in all of our schools and campuses.
Mrs. Lyle's Financial Literacy class was all smiles today while unwrapping the new equipment for their mobile coffee cart. Students in FACS, Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurial Experience will take part in running the coffee cart on campus. We are so thankful for those who helped make this Donors Choose project a reality.

Ms. Jackson recently had two donors choose projects funded. The items are for a barista that will be run by students during basketball games. We would like to thank all of those who donated money to our projects!
